The child we bring to safety, the girl we pluck from misery, the man we give a chance to, will never be just numbers in a project, but names in a new story.

MADAGAMOUR
Textile and craft laboratory.
What books can do for children, work can do for women, as they help to break the chains of dependence and poverty.
It’s called MADAGAMOUR, the textile and craft workshop founded by a small collective of women from Madagascar and hosted in the village of Izahay Dia!.
In Madagascar, women find it more difficult to get a job because of nepotism, corruption and discrimination in the recruitment process. And when they get a job, they are often subjected to all kinds of violence.
Thus, girls often grow up limiting their inspirations of independence.
All the women involved in the project have a life of battles and defeats.
They were alone and now they are together. They have ideas, sensitivity and passion.
They are also delighted by the idea that something they created arrives in the hands of a woman who lives on the other side of the world.
This is our Foundation’s first project dedicated to female work. And it won’t be the last.
And now that you know the project...
Find out what you can do for us and what we can do for you.
