Projects

The child we bring to safety, the girl we pluck from misery, the man we give a chance to, will never be just numbers in a project, but names in a new story.

There is such a thing as a just war.

The war on hunger.

TANÀ’S SOUP KITCHEN

In one of the poorest neighborhoods in the capital.

This is the first project we’re supporting in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar.
A soup kitchen launched by the Association Missionaire de Marie Mere du Bon Pasteur, in Ampandrana, a poor neighborhood teeming with children living in dire conditions—often without parents and without attending school.

The soup kitchen, located in a small space in the heart of the neighborhood, feeds 150 children every day and works to help them reintegrate into society by paying for their tuition and school supplies.
We decided to step in and lend a hand, with the goal of making the project self-sustaining, just as we always do.

That is why we decided to build a new large chicken coop on our Gana Gana farm, the proceeds from which will go toward maintaining the soup kitchen.
At a time when humanitarian aid is being cut worldwide to fund the purchase of weapons, the “Tsimok’aina” soup kitchen is our small but determined declaration of war on hunger.

And now that you know the project...

Find out what you can do for us and what we can do for you.
